Combined motor start and braking devices

The VersiComb II family of combined soft-start and braking devices are designed to provide smooth start-up and braking of a three-phase motor with two-phase control. They provide inrush and braking current limitation, real-time process control that reduces electrical and mechanical stresses, thus extending the life of the motor and its drive. They work with standard AC induction motors.

The VBMS series of soft starters series is equipped with comprehensive functions for soft start, motor and system protection and is therefore and system protection, making them ideal for a wide range of motors and applications. The favoured areas of application include pumps and fans.
